Ugh! Did not enjoy at all.<br /><br />Also agreed on "grounded in the possible." That was its greatest strength I think. I could absolutely believe that this great even was taking place. I'd give it the same rating, too. I did enjoy his melding of science in this speculative tale. Kinda got a kick out of his Mars Rover prediction (dead on from the mid-80s). Ellie was a great character to orbit around as this story unfolded, although her family situation and final twist seemed a tad soap opera-ry. Overall, I did enjoy the experience because it was so grounded in the possible. The science Sagan espoused so reachable in that way of his.
