Geaux Tigers!

As this first weekend of college football winds up you'd think I'd be most relieved with a solid win for my Tigers over Oregon but it turns out I'm now starting to appreciate that the LSU equipment manager wasn't overtaken by inexplicable bad taste. Oregon is notorious for their ugly uniforms (I thought they had escaped the awful this year but the pre-darkened sweat stain area keeps them from true escape) but Georgia! Maryland! What are you thinking? To be fair, Georgia's uniforms look much worse on the field than they do when being modeled but Maryland's uniform choice for their debut today is awful any way you view it.

Whatever happened to simple lines and classic appeal?

  1. Pretty sure Georgia's uniforms were part of some sort of strategy to blind your opponent.

As for Oregon... well, when you make these decisions while high, that's what you get.

Nice start to the Tigers season though!

Thanks for hosting on opening weekend. We had a great time and it's always nice to see the Tigers win (and the Ducks lose, of course:)

Sorry to see OSU did not turn things around during the second week. :(
