What have you been reading lately?

  1. Hi Rachel!
Yes, I recently learned that the 'Mistress of the Art of Death' series is getting an update, and I'm scrambling to get through the second. The trouble is, I've also just discovered the 'Spellman' series (excellent, contemporary PI family series) and the second in the 'Flavia de Luce' series just came out....

I almost long for the kind of holidays I fantasize single bookaholics have, where they can fill their suitcase with reading material and hang out undisburbed by a pool somewhere....

Am unfamiliar with Bernice McFadden. I'll go google her..

  2. The Spellman series sounds pretty interesting. I don't actively avoid series but I do tend to be rather select about the ones I read. Or maybe it's more accurate to say that I very often don't keep up with them. I don't know what it is with series but there are so few I stick with. I am, however, always looking for a good one to get hooked on.
